 I don't know if this 1982 movie from Rankin/Bass studios counts as anthro, but surely a talking unicorn would be considered I think. An engaging film based on the Peter S. Beagle novel, the unicorn goes in search of her missing companions.  Aided by Shmendrek (hope I spelled his name correctly!) the wizard and his traveling companion Molly Grue, their quest is fraught by many perils. One of the most heart breaking is when the wizard turns the unicorn into a mortal girl to save her from the Red Bull (I can feel this body dying all around me!) If you've seen the movie,you'll know! If you haven't, be sure to give it a watch!

 Beau and I were out on the bay, not fishing but just enjoying the afternoon.  I had never used this type of boat before, and it had a good outboard motor.  I was delighted to be on the water with this most excellent of cats, I was very happy to see him again.  I was petting him and rubbing his head when he put a paw on my leg and said, 'I'm cold'.  That's when I woke up and remembered my darling kitty was gone and I had been dreaming.  But I sure enjoyed seeing him again, I miss him terribly.  

    Jack is an uberbizarre webcomic by David Hopkins. It is one of the most reviled on the net.  I think it is worth looking at. https://jackrabbit.thecomicseries.com/comics/715/ #content -start Jack, a rabbit, is the embodiment of wrath as well as the grim reaper. To say the least this is a very strange story. This is the best of it, he should have done more like this. The mainspring of the comic is Heaven, Hell, Judgement and extreme violence. Rape and torture are common. I think Mr. Hopkins could have done much better, judging from the above link. Oh, well, he gets noticed in spite of the wildly uneven artwork and writing. In other words, many say that Dave can't draw comics, but no one can say he didn't. This is one weird comic.

From what little I can learn the cow is Dutch, the rabbit French, clearly a British bulldog, a tuxedoed  American Buffalo, and the white bear is probably a Russian.  The middle foreground figure might be a Zouave, a member of the North African French Union, although it looks like some kind of 'roo.  This art is out of hand.   Hitler, Goering, and Goebbels.  Not offensively subtle.    Using adorable animals to make a point really works.   Hess gets mentioned. It is the story of Miles Kitterridge, a young kitten in 1976 who meets his rock star hero,Noel Reyfield~ As a aspiring punk rocker in the 1980's, Miles becomes a member of the road crew for the band Fearless Minds, where there is trouble brewing between former best friends Fenris Vanderwulf and Darrel Hare.     Friday I was finishing loading the car with groceries when I heard a kitten crying.  The cry was coming from a private lot, heavily overgrown with palms and live oak.  Every time I got near the cat would go quiet.  I went to the owners and got permission to look for it, but I could never find the kitten.  I went all weekend several times a day but I have not heard from the cat anymore.  I was even there today.  It breaks my heart thinking of a helpless kitten at the mercy of nature, but I am assuming the cat was dead soon after I first heard from it.   Oh my God, this is sad.  Cats are made for loving. Today I read that in Arlington, Tx, someone is poisoning dozens of well cared for "feral" cats.  The community along Main St. has fed and made sure these cats were vaccinated and neutered.  These are collective pets.  This is a mass poisoning and I hope this person or whatever is caught.  Th...
