Hybrid Intro

Hey guys!  Welcome to Hybrid!  I’m Andrew the Bee and before I say anything else,
 let me get one thing out of the way:  Maybe you’ve heard some of that talk about how 
“furries” gather together, put on mascot costumes, and go hog-wild in public places! 
 Well, most of that is bunk! 
 Sure, there are a few guys who like to dress up and act out,
 but you can find that type just about anywhere!  I’m here to tell you that there’s more to
 the furry fandom than you might think!  A lot more!

Don’t get me wrong; if doing the nasty in a fursuit is your bag, that’s cool, 
but you gotta know that there’s all kinds of furry folks out there. 
 Here at Hybrid, we aim to prove that by showing you some of the great story writers,
 cartoonists, fine artists, poets, and others who make the fandom one of the most 
 variety-packed there is!  This isn’t just about fursuits, no sir!

When it comes to furry, some folks have been at it for a long time;
 others are only just getting started.  There’s girls, guys, and folks from all over the world.
  Some are sweet; others are salty.  The only thing they all have in common is that they 
dig anthropomorphic animals!  

When you think about it, that’s not so weird.  Heck, cave men were drawing furries 
 before they knew how to write!  The ancient Egyptians built the mighty pyramids
  and painted furries all over them!  And today, well, you all know and love that mouse guy.
  What I’m sayin’ is that furry is natural!  
So whether you’re into fursuits or not, check us out 
and enjoy!
