Competitor Capital - Shelagh the Roo by Razorbill Cartoons
Shelagh had visited the city before but didn't quite have the experience of viewing it standing among the skyline itself, high above the noisy streets and daily chaos of downtown. In this district the training grounds were situated on the roof and accessible from the new flat, perfect for a new routine in training.
Despite the excitement and that came with being in this new environment, there was a nervous feeling in her gut about the challenges and risks that now awaited engagement. This was a dangerous playground to be in, death could lurk around any corner, but for now she would revise the basics and learn the routes that could be relied upon.
This is a place that proves the strong and determined of the applicants, those that have what it takes to be an effective runner, now is the time Shelagh would have to choose either fighting or running in the next step of training.
A choice of combative: Facing down opponents in a variety of manoeuvres to neutralise threats or targets, this option can have legal or illegal implications with a vast array of assignments in corporate security.
A choice of free running: This is an illegal form of Parkour, similar to a game of cat and mouse, running would entail strategic techniques to become effective in evading and pursuit. Many corporations hire illegal runners on assignments around the city.
Shelagh learns more free running moves to keep up her momentum, now she can drop higher distances and break her fall with a forward roll, her kickers are incredibly useful for landing because they are designed to rebound at least twice her weight !
She is seemingly built to be an expert runner, but she must keep her training up and not falter, for her legs are very anatomically effective but injury could spell disaster.
P.S.
Second action in the potential animation followup, continuing to use the new brushes, keeping it rough and sketchy, since its the base for animation sequence.
You just wait until it is ruled that the Underpeople can participate in the Olympics. The day of Man is over!
