This was a story about folk singer Daniel and his partner Jan.When their music career seems to be going no where,Jan sells her soul to the Devil (a anthro dragon type creature) to become Funky Jan,the disco queen! Daniel steps in to save the day by finding a loophole in the Devil's contract. Pretty serious stuff for a kid's cartoon,but a great soundtrack-pure 70's funk! My fan art of Jan-so much fun to draw! Ah, William Joyce. There was a time when I thought him the Greatest of illustrators. He remains high on the list. I wasn't super familiar with his black-and-white work. This is something of a revelation!
