 Dreams sometimes do come true.

My brother found this on Bobby London's Instagram page.  If you don't know Bobby London, he is one of the great anthro cartoonists and made my teen years a little more bearable.

Mr. London was one of the Air Pirates.

Bobby also took over Thimble Theater in 1986, but there were differences 'twixt him and the owners-

In June 1992, London began a continuity in which Olive Oyl receives a Baby Bluto doll, and decides to get rid of it.  Passerbys think that she intends to get an abortion.

Worried over even the implication of the a-word, the syndicate fired London and refused to run the continuity.  They've been running repeats of Sagendorf strips ever since.

Bobby and my brother argue frequently.

    1. He must really threaten the nonentities that dominate the teaching 'profession' these days. I wonder if Huckleberry Finn is still allowed in classrooms? Public schools are a disgrace and are merely holding cells for future convicts and societal drones.

    2. Many of the books Mark Twain wrote for youthful readers are now excluded. Apparently they're racist.

    1. Really now! I would have thought you a model student. My own behavior makes my rabbit Billy look like Father Lankester Merrin. And as for the older young me, once I found out that if I obeyed orders exactly as they were given to me I could get away with murder in the Corps.
Uh...we were talking about you as I recall. How did you freak your teachers out, were you a furry artist then? I would think that back in the day considering what we saw on Saturday morning tv that would have been fine and dandy!

    3. Those guys tried to draw the world's attention to Disney getting special copyright status. But damn if I would take on The Mouse, they lost in court and were ordered to pay 100,000 dollars, which Disney never tried to collect. https://boom-art.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/disney-BW-cadre-d%E2%80%9Atail-02.jpg This is by Wally Wood, and Disney wisely ignored it. The Air Pirates were a threat, the orgy poster was best left alone.
