Tamberlane

 Hi everyone-I just found out about this great web comic featuring a cast of anthro animals! The story is about a young bat/squirrel hybrid named Belfry (bats in the belfry!) who finds and adopts a human child who is lost in the forest.

The art work is above and beyond for a web comic and the characters are fun and engaging. Also of note are the many hybrid/mixed species animals and marriages/couples. Belfry is the adopted daughter of a badger and deer who have one biological daughter that is a deer/badger mix. It's nice that Belfry is featured as a heroine (although a clumsy one!) while most comics/cartoons portray bats as blood-sucking vampires. Another interesting character is Claude Oakwood, a grumpy old coyote who is the town librarian. He is the one who takes Belfry and little Tamberlane in when they have nowhere else to go. Check it out-it's well worth the read!
