Up upon the second floor, there's a cat behind that door!


Family and friends.


It's all about the parrot, that's what started this.


I fear for that milk.


Something in the sky.  It's a giant, with a camera!


Even as you lay old and dying, this tremendous sunny day will have been with you all your life.

Crusader Rabbit, first aired August 1st, 1950. Crusader is the world's first cartoon series made for television.  Alex Anderson, nephew of Paul Terry, came up with the idea.  Jay Ward is part of this, huge surprise there.  It was filmed on a very low budget and has little animation, mostly still shots and camera pans making up the bulk of the cartoon.  Here Crusader is about to demonstrate his lack of superpowers. https://youtu.be/C3hHQvkUhJo Ragland T. This is a stuffed frog playing a wooden violin, if you can dig that. I think this is macabre. Mocked in death. These are pretty well done for what they are.  I am thinking that I should burn them now that I have their pictures.  Just last week I bought an excellent boar's skull with tusks all a'grinning.  The skull is for a 6-foot shaft in my garden, facing my neighbors. Pigs with Problems

Hi Guys! Did you ever wonder what goes through a pig's head when he knows that his destiny is to be made into lard ?  Well, it turns out that most pigs are up for that , at least according to N. K. Fairbank and Company ! Back in the 1880s and 1890s , Fairbank was one of the biggest producers of lard around!  You're probably thinking "lard, who in heck wants that ??"  Well, before they invented vegetable oil , you needed lard to cook with !  If you were going to fry anything, you had to have lard, or put in layman's terms, pig fat ! Well, pig fat and killing animals are pretty gross , no doubt!  And if anybody hated gross things , it was the Victorians !  So how do you sell the idea of pig fat?  You make a joke out of it , that's how!  You create a whole advertising campaign out of these anthro pigs whose only desire in life is to die !  So they can be made into grease for cooking!
