Anthros in everyday – Part Zero – Where these from? Theory.

The first intelligent humanoids discovered the animal special abilities and survival capability and with the passage the of the time, they started to revere and admire the other livingbeings. This esteem accompanied ancient civilizations all the way.
Learning and observing from the other species was beneficial to the ancestors in terms of both survival and development.
Probably at first we started to pay more attention to the animal kingdom mainly because of fear and a kind of envy.
Studying the behavior of animals and understanding the mental and physical characteristics of the animal, it contributed not only to the success of the hunt but also to self-defense
The prehistoric people had to know the habits of the scary beasts in order to defend themselves, since, they feared and longed for the sheer strength, speed and a destructive arsenal of weapons.
So, the life was not easy in those times. They prayed to ancient forces, spirits, and gods for survival and asked for various abilities that the amazing and awesome animals possessed. Strength and quiet footsteps for hunting, speed and dexterity for escape, and much more things.
Properties physical and mental were assigned to the animals. These were later to connect to human characteristics and vice versa. Religions and myths were soon born, traced back to a philosophy close to ancient nature. Shamanism and totemism were born. Then magical animal spirits, godlike creatures, half-human half-animal gods have taken over the world.
It shows that animals have always played a major role in the history of mankind. Perhaps we seem to distance ourselves from the animal kingdom and nature, with artifical living places and technology... Although we still maintain this connection subconsciously and are surrounded by respect and love for animals.
The desire to connect with nature is not yet completely extinct in humans and it lives faintly longer.
Anthropomorphism and animal symbols are part of our everyday lives.
You can read more about these in the following chapters.

I really like the old stories where all people and animals are "brother" or "equal" ...
